Why hello. :)) The moment I heard you'll be coming to the hallowed Ayala malls, I knew I just had to go. I missed Boys Like Girls, Boyce Avenue and The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, but I can't miss you. So I picked TriNoma, being the nearest of the bunch. Mig and I harrassed mom for weeks just so we can go. Now I kind of wish I chose a farther, less accessible one like Greenbelt (or even Cebu ;)) ), where there would probably be fewer people out to get a glimpse of the man behind the voice. Because man, TriNoma was packed because of you, and I got frustrated with the hoards of feeling emo's and the fanboys/girls around.

But as claustrophobic as I am, I can't regret coming out to see you because you truly are legendary. Your voice is perfection. It just reaches inside of you, you know? It grabs your heart undulately, twists it until all the blood oozes out, then leaves it alone to breathe--and it ends up fresher than it had first been. I really wish you had sung my favorite "Stranger" and the very painful "It's Not Over", but I'm left breathless with your set nonetheless. Each song gave me goosebumps, and I still can't believe I actually heard in person one of the best voices I've heard in my life (you own that honor with Alex Gaskarth, Juliet Simms, Alex DeLeon and David Cook).

Thank you so much for the gift you bestowed these humble ears. I really wish to hear you again--and soon.

PS. I am at a loss for words upon hearing you say that you and your wife had broken up. (But best friends still? That's just aww.) I mean, all your songs were for her! She must be a total goon to let you go.
