I cannot function in a world without music.
I want to fly.
I admit to being extremely random.
I shop to stay sane.
I ♥ my BHs.
I want to travel the world someday.
I learn from the TV.
I actually love school. :|
I believe I am a superhero in my own right. ;))
I lead, but it is He who leads me.
Not the next.
The first.
Multiply!
I can't believe I still have this

Monday, March 23, 2009 I kept you.
Do you know what it feels like opening your wallet, expecting to see the usual wad of crisp moolah leering at you, but instead found--nothing? I have. Just today.
It's crap, I'm telling you. Now I don't want to sound all stuck-up and materialistic (I swear I'm not), but really. On one side it's surprising. I could've sworn I had a decent amount in there like a month ago, but it seemed to have gradually disappeared. (I found the culprit. I don't splurge much when I go out, but then, I go out pretty often. Yipes.) On the other side, it's scary. I need some money in my wallet. We all do. For me it's a matter of security. I commute and do a lot of last-minute stuff, and it makes me breathe to know that I'm ready with my trusty wallet. But what is it without the money?
Truly, the recession does not choose its victims. It just hit me, in time for summer. :|
But. Mwahaha. Despite my desperate lack of finances, I still found time to go to the mall. After a half day at school for usherette training and assistant committee head interviews, Gen and I went to Sta. Lucia. Man, there were so many people at school, you'd think there were still regular classes. I blame you, clearance. So we ate at Yoshinoya to Gen's request, a really good place to eat if you're craving Japanese but cash-strapped as I am. Their beef yakiniku was so yummy and worth the Php105 I begrudgingly shelled out at first. Even their red tea was good, and I hate hate tea. ;))
We shopped for a while. Gen bought a myriad of bright nail polish. @-) Then we had neoprints! Again. The operating guy knows me very well already. 8-)
Thanks Gen for the fun day! And for carrying my laptop. If not for you, it would've killed my shoulders. >:D<
---
Something else happened today. Something--or someone--came back. I can't really tell myself. I mean it's long over, and I'm glad. Things are better now. They'll never be the way they were before and if that's what should be, then fine. We have our own lives. But it looks like the world is pulling some strings just so that we can still be a part of each other's. I have no objections with that. I actually miss us sometimes.
But tell me people. If you have something, but can't find it--what's the use?
