I cannot function in a world without music.
I want to fly.
I admit to being extremely random.
I shop to stay sane.
I ♥ my BHs.
I want to travel the world someday.
I learn from the TV.
I actually love school. :|
I believe I am a superhero in my own right. ;))
I lead, but it is He who leads me.
Not the next.
The first.

Tuesday, August 25, 2009 The hand that holds on even when you let go
Wow. And here I thought it was going to be just another [half] day.
The SCAA and the JSCAA were called for a meeting with the head of the Assumption Philippine-Thailand Province (or something like that), Sister Marjo. It was some kind of project-sharing at first. Then she asked us what we liked about our school (it has its pros and cons, with the former outweighing the latter, definitely), what we felt about Cory Aquino's death (I hope democracy didn't die with her), and some other very timely stuff. All this segued to an incredibly beautiful, incredibly insightful discusssion on true happiness, and the proverbial Road Not Taken (it's true - the harder path is the path God wants us to take). All of it is too profound too articulate, and I'm pretty sure a transcript wouldn't even suffice, because there's nothing like seeing wisdom in the flesh.
But in all, the meeting was a celebration of honesty and idealism, and it ultimately inspired me to overcome my selfish tendencies and to love Him even more. ♥
